J.Paul Montgomery

J. Paul Montgomery: Founder of Hero’s, a 501 (C) (3) Non-Profit organization that find heroes, that summited a Bio to the organization, and matched with an underserved community youth, that thrive to emulate his/her newly found hero. For several years the program was successful as and after school program for students within the Austin, Texas Independent School District. Prior, Montgomery served over 20 years with the U.S. Army in the field of Intelligent, Communication, and directed combat operation for a Tank Company in the Vietnam war. Company A of the 69th Armor Battalion. Company A was highly decorated and singled out as the most successful tank company in the Vietnam War. and was awarded the President Unit Citation, for going above and beyond the call of duty. Montgomery is the author of several books: “Mama’s Black Child”, “Clermont and Beyond”, “6 Brothers Lifestyle” and coming out soon “Montgomery’s”. Montgomery served as a U.S. Recruiter for over fourteen years. His awards include, Driver Badge, Vietnam Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal with Clasps, Bronze 5 Loops, Army Commendation Medal, and Meritorious Medal.
